Timar Alem, DMD
Dr. Timar Alem is passionate about dentistry and looks forward to helping you preserve and improve your oral health.
After graduating from Oregon State University, she received her doctorate in dentistry from Oregon Health Sciences University and went on to complete a general practice residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in West Los Angeles. Dr. Alem practiced in Oregon for two years before settling with her husband in the Seattle area, where she has practiced dentistry for the past 12 years.
A skilled professional known for her gentle, soothing style, Dr. Alem cares for patients of all ages and has a special interest in pediatric dentistry. She is a former Affiliated Faculty Member of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Washington. She holds memberships in the American Dental Association and the Seattle King County Dental Society.
Away from work, Dr. Alem enjoys hiking, traveling and rejuvenating at a local day spa. She and her husband keep busy raising three lively boys.
Raman Kaur
Raman has been a dental assistant for two years. She is passionate about her work and enjoys interacting with people. Raman finds dental assisting extremely satisfying and is excited to work in the field of dentistry. She looks forward to taking care of our patients with great pride.
Raman has lived in Seattle for 12 years and likes spending time with her family and friends. She is a student, majoring in Dental Hygiene, and has just completed her AAS degree. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, shopping, and swimming.
April Woodward
April is the office Patient Care Coordinator and has worked in the dental field for a number of years. Introduced to dentistry while completing her associate’s degree, she became interested in the Dental Hygiene program. After managing a large dental practice, her interests have progressed into areas of management, including financial and insurance coordination. She is outgoing and takes pride in personally caring for patients’ needs.
In her free time, April enjoys the outdoors with her fiancé. They like to go hiking, camping, kayaking, and wave boarding. She is interested in continuing dental education and keeping up with modern dentistry.
